Websites are constantly under attack and protecting your private information is very important. Of course, ContraCode's hosting offers some basic protection against brute force attacks, however, there is one attack we cannot protect you from for free: Man in the Middle Attacks.

SSL protects against these attacks. By sending your data securily, you prevent others from reading your site's username and password when logging in on untrusted (public) networks or modifying the data shown to visitors. A must-have have WordPress or ecommerce sites, and a trustworthy sign of professionality for all others.

SSL certificates need to be installed on your website, which is why we currently only provide SSL certificates for websites hosted with us. When buying an SSL certificate, we will install it on your site. No need to worry about anything.
